Bus Travel

Hong Kong Bus network covers almost all of Hong Kong except some outlying islands.
Extremely useful for tourists, as there are a number of sights and areas only reachable via the Hong Kong bus network.
Most bus routes operate between 6a.m. and 12mn. However, Major bus routes provide night buses (24 hour service), marked N.
Bus route destinations are prominently displayed in English and Chinese on the front of the bus.
Buses are equipped with electronic information screens notifying next stop in English and Chinese.
The double-decker buses offer great views of the Hong Kong city.
Bus fares will be displayed on the box and on information boards at many bus stops, and are based on distance travelled. Exact change is required. Octopus cards are also accepted.
